About Paul Connors, E.A.

Paul Connors, E.A. Paul started his income tax business in 1960    while serving in the United States Air Force. Paul helped his fellow airman complete their tax returns after completing a basic income tax course at a local community college and continued to do so until his discharge form military service in 1967.

Paul was employed by a local tax preparation firm in Waterbury, CT. until he moved to Indianapolis, IN. in 1970 where he opened his own income tax preparation and bookkeeping service. Paul sold this business to Tax Masters, ISC Financial Corp. in 1972 and moved to Independence, MO.

Paul assumed responsibility for programs development, tax preparer training and customer service for the Tax Masters division of ISC Financial Corp. Kansas City, MO. and served in that capacity from 1972 to 1974.

Paul founded Personnel Consulting & Accounting Services in 1974 in Independence MO. and in 1978 relocated his home and business to Blue Springs, MO.

In 1985 the growth of the business and the number of locations led to the formation of Accountants Support Service, Inc. which today remains the individual income tax preparation arm of PCA Services Inc.

Paul serves as an officer and member of a number of Boards and Corporations in the Kansas City area. Paul was appointed by Governor Jay Nixon, to the Missouri Veterans Commission in May 2009. Paul was elected by the Missouri VFW to represent both Missouri and Indiana on the VFW National Council of Administration in June 2009. Paul served as the CFO of the State of Missouri Veterans of Foreign Wars and a Director of the Missouri Veterans Foundation for more than 10 years.  

 Paul is an Enrolled Agent and a member of the National and Missouri Society of Enrolled Agents and other professional organizations. 

Paul is the father of two and resides in Blue Springs, MO.
